CHOOSE YOUR BASE
A skyline worth slowing down for.
A Hong Kong trip can combine busy shopping streets with harbor walks and quieter outings. Think about whether you would prefer to return to a lively neighborhood or a calmer base each evening. Check the room layout and transport connections before deciding.
Which area fits your trip?
Tsim Sha Tsui
A Kowloon base for harbor-facing walks and shopping. Check the actual walk from the property to the waterfront; a neighborhood label does not guarantee a harbor view from your room.
Central
A Hong Kong Island base for exploring Old Town Central and connecting with the harbor. Inspect the route to the hotel carefully if slopes or steps affect your plans.
Around your chosen connection
Choose the side of the harbor that fits most of your itinerary, then compare the nearest useful transport. One well-planned crossing can be enjoyable; repeated crossings may change the pace of a short stay.
Plan the journeys between
The Star Ferry connects Tsim Sha Tsui with Central and Wan Chai. Check the pier and service you need, and compare it with other transport for your return. A waterfront view and direct access to a pier are separate property features.
Before you choose your stay
Room size, window type and bed arrangement can change the feel of a stay. Read the selected room description for any view promise. A hotel’s skyline photograph may show the surrounding city rather than what is visible from every room.
Use the full address and map to compare locations on either side of the harbor.
